The five units, and what they all share

All five are at Via Sporting Mirasole 15 and 19, Noverasco di Opera, 20073, Province of Milan. Numbers 15 and 19 are two buildings on the same street: the Bilocale and the Trilocale are at 19, the Appartamento Deluxe and its two bedrooms are at 15.

Every unit, whole flat or single room, comes with free WiFi and air conditioning. Covered parking is available on request for €5 per day. Access is independent: No. 15 uses a personal Nuki code, while the Bilocale and Trilocale at No. 19 use physical keys kept in a lockbox near the door. Exact instructions and codes are sent privately before arrival. An airport transfer can be arranged from Malpensa, Linate or Orio al Serio.

What is nearby. The distances and journey times below come from OpenStreetMap routing rather than from anyone driving the route with a stopwatch, so treat them as good estimates.

• American School of Milan, Via K. Marx 14, in the same hamlet: about 380 m in a straight line, 400 to 480 m on foot, roughly six minutes' walk.
• IEO, the European Institute of Oncology, Via Ripamonti 435: about 2.5 km, four to five minutes by car. The ATM terminus "Noverasco (Opera)" is about 180 m away, and line 99 reaches the stop "Via Ripamonti (Ist. Europeo Oncologia)" in seven minutes, fifth stop, no changes. Towards Milan the first bus leaves at 06:35 and the last at 22:05, every 15 to 16 minutes at peak times and every 30 minutes otherwise; the last return from the IEO stop is around 21:54, after which line 222 covers the late hours, with the last departure towards Opera at about 01:00, every day. The free IEO shuttle from Abbiategrasso, on metro line MM2, runs Monday to Friday only, not at weekends. The drive between Noverasco and the IEO crosses neither Area B nor Area C of Milan.
• Humanitas Research Hospital, Via Manzoni 56, Rozzano: about 8 km, 13 minutes by car. There is no direct bus. By public transport it means line 222 to the centre of Opera, then a change onto line 220.
• Forum di Assago about ten minutes, Scalo Milano outlet about five, central Milan about fifteen, and exit 8 of the A50 west ring road about two. Le Rovedine golf course is walkable; Tolcinasco golf club is about ten minutes away.

Bilocale Civico 19: one-bedroom flat for two

The smaller of the two flats at number 19: one bedroom, room for two people, and completely independent. Nothing is shared with other guests, so booking it gives you the flat.

Who it suits: a couple; a patient with one companion attending appointments in Milan; a parent arriving ahead of the rest of the family during a relocation; someone working at Assago or Milanofiori who would rather cook than eat out every evening.

Trilocale Civico 19: two-bedroom flat for four

The larger flat at number 19, with two bedrooms and room for four people. Like its neighbour it is fully independent: there are no shared areas, and booking it gives you the whole flat.

Who it suits: families moving to Milan for the American School of Milan, six minutes' walk away, who need somewhere to live between finding a flat in the city and getting the keys. Two separate bedrooms, a kitchen and a washing machine make a stay of several weeks workable in a way a hotel room does not; if you expect to need more than 30 nights, read the note on long stays at the foot of this page before you book. The flat also works for two adults travelling with children, or for a patient's family who would rather stay together than split across separate rooms.

Appartamento Deluxe Civico 15: the whole flat, for four

At number 15, a flat with two private zones, Mini Suite Sole and Mini Suite Luna, and room for four people in total. Booking the Deluxe means booking the entire flat: both bedrooms, both bathrooms and every common area are yours alone for the length of the stay.

Who it suits: a family of four; two couples travelling together; anyone who wants the certainty of having the whole flat, and nobody else in it.

Mini Suite Sole: a private zone inside the Deluxe flat

Mini Suite Sole is one of the two private zones inside the Appartamento Deluxe at number 15 and can be booked separately. Entering the mini suite, you find a private vestibule with two doors: one opens to the exclusive bathroom and the other to the double bedroom.

The bedroom has a TV, walk-in wardrobe, air conditioning, premium finishes and a balcony overlooking the park. Free WiFi is included. Covered parking is available on request for €5 per day. The kitchen and washing machine are not private facilities of the mini suite; other common areas may be shared when Mini Suite Luna is occupied by other guests.

Who it suits: one or two people looking for more privacy and comfort than a standard room, while accepting that another party may occupy the other mini suite.

Mini Suite Luna: the second private zone in the Deluxe flat

Mini Suite Luna is the other private zone inside the Appartamento Deluxe at number 15 and has the same layout as Mini Suite Sole. Its private vestibule has two doors: one opens to the exclusive bathroom and the other to the double bedroom.

Who it suits: the same people as Mini Suite Sole. Two friends or two family members travelling together who want separate rooms can book Sole and Luna for the same dates.

Booking one mini suite or the whole flat: the difference

This is the point that causes most confusion, so here it is plainly.

• Book Mini Suite Sole on its own and Mini Suite Luna stays on sale: other guests may book it for the same dates. The reverse is equally true.
• Your private vestibule, exclusive bathroom and bedroom are never shared. Only the flat's common areas may be shared with whoever has the other mini suite.
• Book the Appartamento Deluxe and you have the whole flat, with nobody else in it. That is the only booking at number 15 that guarantees exclusive use of every area.

None of this applies at number 19. The Bilocale and the Trilocale are two separate, fully independent flats, and booking either one gives you that flat entirely, with no shared spaces.

So if having the whole place to yourself matters, book the entire Deluxe or one of the flats at number 19. If you want a private mini suite at a lower nightly rate, Sole or Luna is the right choice.

Rates, longer stays and how to book

The live pricing engine works out the exact total for your dates. Civico 15 uses length-of-stay rates and the quote shows the total, average nightly rate and next threshold. Bilocale Civico 19 and Trilocale Civico 19 keep their existing rate structure.

Every unit is registered, and the CIN for each one is shown in its section above, including for Mini Suite Sole and Mini Suite Luna, which share the registration of the Deluxe flat they belong to. Mini Suite requests open ten days before arrival unless the property opens them earlier.

On long stays there is one legal point worth knowing before you send a request. Italian short-term tourist lets are capped at 30 consecutive days; stays of 31 nights or more need a personalised arrangement. Tell us the full length rather than requesting 30 nights and hoping to extend.

Sending the form does not confirm the stay, reserve the dates or take payment. We review the request within 12 hours. If approved, we email a payment link that is valid for 90 minutes.
